Full Moon in Scorpio

Today is the full moon in Scorpio — 17 degrees Scorpio opposite the sun in 17 degrees Taurus at 8:45 am EDT.
The moon is in Mars and Pluto’s sign of Scorpio.
The moon in Scorpio is in its fall — a hostile adversarial placement for the moon. We can see Scorpio as the most sensitive of all the signs. Scorpio’s skin is thin — its opposite sign of Taurus is ‘thick skinned’, generally unperturbed, deliberate, and not easily angered.
For the next two days, create space for others fear displayed as irritability, anger, and caustic reaction. Words generally won’t soothe this situation, nor will avoidance. If you are confronted with yours or an other’s frustration or worse, be present and open if you can. Openness is best here. Things and people break.
I generally avoid pat flat phrases like ‘be yourself’. I consider talk like that someone’s way of avoiding engagement with another. Here is a biscuit, now go away.
Scorpio often encourages actions and thoughts and emotion in the extreme end of the spectrum. What is your body telling you today and tomorrow? Are you itchy? Irritable?
Moon is also instinct. This moon phase will pass — we have just now the opportunity to release difficult and antisocial emotions.
One last mention; The Buddha and Craig Ferguson were born in a Scorpio full moon. One is a humane insightful compassionate comedian, the other one is Scottish. Do ya see what I did there?
Happy sailing -
