Algol, the most evil star, and Donald Trump

It is likely, as I will cover in a future essay, that Joe Biden will win the presidency by the same margin as his last win against Donald Trump.
In this essay, I will be covering one of the thousands of fixed stars in Astrology — Algol.
The Ancients saw the fixed stars as the immovable furniture of character, gifts, karma, and fate. The planets would move in their orbits, seeming to open and close various doors in Astrology. The fixed stars symbolize what issues we brought to the planet and the work of accepting or resolving some or all of these “fates.” This is not strictly a discussion on fate vs. free will. It is about how prominent “fixed” stars can reveal a facet of being, a passage, or an event that is not personal — unless it is. The Greeks and Arabs, who are mainly responsible for Western Astrology, saw Algol as a most evil light in the sky. Thus, to be brief, we are in an ever shifting balance of what we create, what we do, and the various conditions that seem inevitable in the learning curve of being on and in this planet, as well as the bigger picture of how we grow through challenges or not. For instance, Algol was very prominent in Adolf Hitler’s horoscope by birth, including slaughter, mass murder and the piling up of corpses.
As a critical aside, I need to point out that we have all the planets and the fixed stars somewhere in our birth horoscopes. So, there are probably three things you can expect from any transit involving a planet or a “good” or “bad” fixed star.
1. Nothing happens.
2. Things seem to happen or do happen that alters a person’s path.
3. Things happen that suddenly derail, transform, destroy, or enhance what we think of as our fortune, erroneously called our good or bad luck.
Here I am providing a list drawn up by other Astrologers on some of the main themes of Algol.

“Fixed star Algol, Beta Persei, is a 2.1 magnitude, rare triple star and eclipsing binary located in the Medusa’s Head, carried in the Hero’s left Hand, Perseus Constellation. The name Algol comes from the Arabic word رئيس الغول, meaning Head of the Ogre. The English translation became Demon Star, with other names being Satan’s Head and the Spectre’s Head. In Chinese, it belongs to a group of stars called the Mausoleum. Algol appears to blink, as shown in the animation below. Every 69 hours, its magnitude dips for about 10 hours before returning to full brightness again.
Algol represents the head of the Gorgon Medusa, who was slain by Perseus. Medusa, who was the only mortal one of the three Gorgon sisters, was originally a beautiful maiden, but her hair was changed into hissing serpents by Minerva in consequence of her having become by Neptune, the mother of Chrysaor and Pegasus in one of Minerva’s temples. This gave her so fearful an appearance that everyone who looked at her was changed into stone. [3]
In astrology, Algol is one of the most unfortunate stars. Ptolemy referred to it as “the Gorgon of Perseus” and associated it with death by decapitation: mirroring the myth of the Hero Perseus’ victory over the snake-headed Gorgon Medusa. Historically, it has received a strong association with violence across a wide variety of cultures. Medieval Arabic commanders tried to ensure that no important battle began whilst the light of Algol was weak. It may be connected to the periodic lucky prognosis in an ancient Egyptian calendar for lucky and unlucky days composed about 3200 years ago. The 17th-century English astrologer William Lilly regarded any planet to be afflicted when within five degrees of conjunction. [1]
Astrologers, of course, said that it was the most unfortunate, violent, and dangerous star in the heavens, and it certainly has been one of the best observed as the most noteworthy variable in the northern sky. [2]
Fixed star Algol is of the nature of Saturn and Jupiter (dignified, pious, conservative, acquisitive, retentive.) It causes misfortune, violence, decapitation, hanging, electrocution and mob violence, and gives a dogged and violent nature that causes death to the native or others. It is the most evil star in the heavens. [3]
Algol is the Head of Gorgo Medusa. This name is derived from the Arabic Al Ghoul, meaning “demon,” “evil spirit,” or “devil.” Derived from the same root as “alcohol.” The dark one has the property of pure Saturn character; the lighter one corresponds not only to Saturnian influence but also to Mars-Uranus-Pluto nature.”
It’s important to state that in and around July 14th, 2024, Mars will be exactly conjunct Uranus at 26’ Taurus. This means they will be exactly conjunct the fixed star Algol — the most evil. Before I chew on some of the specifics of this powerful conjunction, I am stating here and now clearly, that you may not feel this at all, personally. It’s always beneficial to use caution when embarking on that unknown territory called tomorrow and the future. So, rather than give you a cookie-cutter recipe on “how to cheat fate,” I’m going to suppose that we all know how to be careful with what we all have — the fragile human condition. We are all fragile.
Transits are mainly about the external world seeming to open a door here, close a door there. As I said, you may not be affected at all by this transit, but hypothetically, you know someone who knows someone, who just won $7 Million, shortly before they got hit by a car and were perhaps, only perhaps, seriously injured. Transits are unlikely to indicate that your dog, cat, or pet tropical fish grow several meters long, sprout massive wings of white, and you fly on its back to the lands of the blessed. We are always dealing with our too-mortal flesh and what happens to happen on the planet as individuals, families, and nations, and how that affects you during your journey and how you affect it, the undefined article.
So, by this point in the essay, if I’ve helped you to put away phobias about your personal safety in the week of July 14, 2024, let’s proceed to breaking down the various components of this event and why it features tremendously in Donald Trump’s horoscope and to a lesser degree in Biden’s.
Trump was born with Algol at the top of his chart, called the midheaven, within 1 degree. This points to his native instincts to disregard anyone’s safety in favour of ultimate power over everyone and anyone, no matter how brutal the outcome. He likes to quote Hitler in various speeches regarding mob violence and all hell breaking loose. Here is a telling quote from astrologer Richard Tarnas:
(Regarding) January 6th. You’ve got the conjunction with Uranus that Mars, Uranus is the most volatile alignment you can get, Just the Mars Uranus energy, it’s bold warrior energy at its best. Courageous, breaking past the boundaries of constraint that are oppressive etc. But the shadow side of it is, it’s like this, it’s like juvenile delinquency energy, the fire brand who is full of their own aggression and breaks the glass breaks in. It’s classic for what happened on January 6th and the insurrection, particularly when it’s got the mob energy.

It was mentioned that “furor” from various current events would most likely continue, calling to mind the symbolism of what Algol is, which is the severed head of Medusa.
After hearing Trump’s remarks about some incoming immigrants, referring to them as “animals”, which set off a huge controversy; I had the idea to check how Algol is configured in his natal chart.
Now when I originally heard about this, I thought it was a case of conveniently lumping people together to grandstand a point. But I replayed the videos, I can now see clearly that he was referring to “some” people coming in, but obviously it was taken out of context as a racial slur by the media.
You might say the Trump could have been a little more specific about who and what are the animals, and one probably should be because of the volatile nature of the immigrant situation, but it appears to be a giant media kerfluffle as it is. However, the whole episode indeed brought me to see how Algol is configured in his chart.
But lo, and behold, Donald Trump’s midheaven is within one degree of Algol. That is, Trump’s midheaven, the north-south meridian that intersects with the ecliptic is at the same degree as Algol.

“When he uses his official powers in any way, under the majority’s reasoning, he now will be insulated from criminal prosecution. Orders the Navy’s Seal Team 6 to assassinate a political rival? Immune. Organizes a military coup to hold onto power? Immune. Takes a bribe in exchange for a pardon? Immune. Immune, immune, immune,” Sotomayor wrote.
“In every use of official power, the president is now a king above the law,” Sotomayor added.
So now, on to more of the specifics on this extraordinarily powerful, brief planetary transit whose effects may last for decades to come.
Mars is the warrior and war. He is self-defence, he is fight or flight. As the Talking Heads said, “How about a punch in the face?” Uranus is one of the planets that symbolizes what a generation considers to be real. He is symbolized by sudden reversals, upheavals, homicidal crowds, and the unexpected.
For instance, within a day or so of Uranus entering the fiery sign of Aries, the Fukushima power plant exploded. These two planets, Mars and Uranus, will be in conjunction or married as they pass through the 26’ of Taurus. At that time, on July 14, they will also conjunct the most evil of all the Stars, Algol. This means they will be present at more or less the exact degree of the mid-heaven of Donald Trump’s chart. The midheaven is the highest point in a horoscope, meaning the middle of the heavens. Once again, they will conjunct his own Natal Algol at the same degree. While this can mean not much, in this case, of Trump’s driving and uncaring ambition, it points to him creating a reckless purge of those he considers his enemies and rivals towards the presidency.
As I mentioned in a previous essay, it seemed likely to me at the time, that President Biden, might be assassinated as his second term begins, if he is elected. This could happen post election but before he takes up his second term as President.
In Biden’s birth chart, Algol is embedded in his 6th house of health and service. The transit of Mars — Uranus, July 14 , in that area of the 6th house implies that he will have some health reversals between or before the November 2 debate. The Mars-Uranus-Algol transit opposes his Sun at 27’ Scorpio by birth. Before any of us jump to conclusions about the supposed certainty of Biden’s demise, I am reminding myself and you, that Uranus represents the unexpected. This is very similar to someone claiming that a UFO is a craft driven by aliens, when in fact, the U in UFO, strictly means unidentified. So, by analogy, I’m indicating here, that Biden may resolve a health crisis by November, because the wild card of Uranus, or Prometheus is in play — same as the U in UFO, and the U in unexpected, and the U in Uranus.
